Te Wānanga o Maui Pōtiki is our alternative education programme designed for ākonga aged 13 to 18 who may not feel at home in a traditional classroom setting. Whakakoi Māpara​

​Whakakoi Māpāra is a specialised programme for youth, designed to strengthen confidence, leadership, and practical skills for their future pathways. Through hands-on learning, mentoring, and tailored support, we help ākonga stay engaged in their education while developing the skills and self-belief needed for success beyond school. Our programme fosters resilience, identity, and a sense of purpose, empowering rangatahi to navigate their futures with confidence.

​Education to Employment​

Our Education to Employment Cadetship Programme bridges the gap between learning and the workforce, providing ākonga with real-world experience, industry connections, and the skills needed to transition into meaningful employment. Through structured training, mentorship, and hands-on work opportunities, we support ākonga in developing confidence, employability skills, and career pathways. This programme ensures that every learner is equipped with the tools to succeed in their chosen field, setting them up for long-term success in the workforce.​​​​
