- a motivated non-judgmental person with strong communication skills who will assist these taiohi in completing their programme and supporting them to furthering their education and career path
- able to build relationships and form networks within the community
- experience working with and supporting taiohi
- able to develop a strong professional rapport with each learner and work closely with the facilitator
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring (skills)
- An understanding and interest in supporting young people to achieve
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- A mentoring and support approach within a team environment
- A full driver’s licence
- Experience working with taiohi is preferred.
